How GPT_SmokeyP handles connected account data, conversations, and visits to this website.
Effective and last updated:
The essentials: GPT_SmokeyP is a privately operated personal assistant. Google account data is used for requested assistant features, not advertising, data sales, or general-purpose AI training. Conversations and private backups may retain that data; disconnecting Google does not automatically delete those copies.
01 / Who operates the app
GPT_SmokeyP is maintained by its individual project owner, reachable at mckechniep@gmail.com. It runs in a privately administered environment using locally hosted AI and Open WebUI. It is intended for the owner’s personal use and has no public registration on this website.
This policy covers the assistant’s Google integrations, information submitted to the assistant, support communications, and this informational website. GPT_SmokeyP is independent of Google, GitHub, and OpenAI.
02 / Information accessed
Google sign-in and authorization
Google handles authentication and permission approval. GPT_SmokeyP receives access and refresh tokens, the approved permissions, and account identifiers needed to connect the intended account. It does not receive or store your Google password. Tokens allow continued authorized access without requiring a fresh sign-in for every request.
Gmail
Depending on a request, the integration accesses account identity, message and thread identifiers, senders and recipients, subject lines, timestamps, labels, message text, and attachment names. It can search and read messages, send or reply to email, create and apply labels, and archive or restore selected messages. The current integration does not download attachment contents or expose trash or permanent-delete operations.
Google Calendar
The integration accesses the connected account’s calendar list, event details, and availability. Event data can include titles, descriptions, times, locations, participants, and meeting links. It supports event lookup, availability checks, and requested creation, updates, or deletion, subject to account permissions.
Conversations and support
The assistant processes prompts, supplied files, tool results, and generated responses. If you contact the project owner, your email address, message, and any information you choose to include are used to respond. Other connected services receive or return information when you request their features; their own policies also apply.
03 / How information is used
Connected Google data is used to perform the assistant features described on the homepage: answering questions about mail and calendars, summarizing content, composing requested responses, organizing selected messages, and managing requested events. Credentials and limited operational records support account selection, authorization, troubleshooting, and preventing duplicate sends.
Relevant content is supplied to the locally hosted AI model to produce a response. This processing does not update the model’s weights. Google user data, including data derived from it, is not used to train or fine-tune general-purpose AI models, create advertising profiles, determine creditworthiness, or sell information.
GPT_SmokeyP follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Use and transfer of Google data are limited to the disclosed, user-facing features and the permitted security or legal purposes described here.
04 / Storage, security, and retention
The assistant and its Google connections run on the operator’s private systems. Authorization tokens are stored in private credential files with access restrictions. Authorized client devices may retain conversation results, local caches, or files. Google account data is not stored in this public website repository.
Content returned by Google can appear in saved Open WebUI chats, tool results, and client records. Private backups can contain conversation data or credentials. Operational records may retain account identifiers, timestamps, status information, and message or event identifiers; Gmail send records retain request hashes and receipts to prevent duplicate sends.
There is no fixed automatic deletion period for these private records. Credentials are retained while needed for the connection; conversations, local records, and backups are retained until the operator removes them. Backups can outlive deletion of the active copy and must be handled separately when fulfilling a deletion request.
Access is restricted through account authentication, private-network access, and file permissions. Requests to Google use its HTTPS APIs. These measures reduce risk, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
06 / Revoke access or request deletion
Disconnect Google
Visit Google Account → Third-party connections, select the connection associated with GPT_SmokeyP, and remove its access. This stops future access under that authorization. If Gmail and Calendar share the same Google app connection, removing the connection can affect both.
Remove retained data
To request deletion of local authorization credentials, conversations, copied Google data, client records, or backups, email mckechniep@gmail.com with the subject “GPT_SmokeyP data deletion request.” Identify the affected account and the categories you want removed. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or authentication codes.
The operator will verify the request, identify affected active copies and backups, and explain the deletion scope and any copies that must be retained for security or legal reasons. Revoking authorization alone does not delete existing copies. Removing local copies does not remove messages or events from Google, or copies already received by people or other services through an action you requested.
07 / This website
This is a static informational website. It has no account sign-in, contact form, advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, external fonts, or app-set cookies or browser storage. Visiting it does not connect your Gmail or Calendar account.
The website is hosted with GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, and request timestamps, to operate and secure its service. See the GitHub Privacy Statement. External links take you to services with their own policies; using an email link opens your email application.
08 / Changes and contact
The date at the top identifies this policy’s latest revision. Changes to data practices will be reflected here and communicated to affected users before new uses of Google data begin; additional consent will be requested when required. The assistant is a personal-use tool and is not directed at children.
